Samantha Hatton podiatrist Cheshire middlewich

Samantha Hatton owns SJH Podiatry at Cheshire Lasers in Middlewich.

She graduated from the University of Westminster in 1992 with a degree in Podiatric Medicine. Samantha is registered with the Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry.

Samantha has worked extensively within the NHS for over 25 years, encompassing a range of clinical and managerial roles. A large proportion of her time was spent as a Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist.

Samantha is local to Middlewich and now works solely as a private podiatry practitioner. She continues her education to provide the best advice and treatments for all clients, including children, regardless of age or medical conditions.

She ensures that she follows the College of Podiatry code of conduct, and her registration with the HCPC can be confirmed by following this link: https://www.hcpc-uk.org/check-the-register/

Samantha has her own Podiatry Clinic at Cheshire Lasers Middlewich.

They take measures to reduce any risk of cross-infection. Use sterilised instruments, and all records are strictly confidential.

What to expect at your appointment:

At your initial podiatry appointment, a general medical history will be taken, including details of any medication, lifestyle, allergies etc. A basic foot examination will include an assessment of your circulation & nerve supply, a basic structural examination, and a discussion of your foot problem. Samantha can then recommend a treatment plan.

Samantha can see anyone with any medical condition, regardless of age (including children).

Dr Kathryn Hazlehurst MBCHB MRCGP is a GP trained in Medical Aesthetics. She is registered with the GMC and is from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.

Dr Will Allen is a facial surgeon with years of experience in skin cancer,  cosmetic reconstruction after trauma, and facial deformity. He also has over ten years of experience as a surgeon in the NHS. He has also worked on transgender cases in central Manchester and received training in general plastic and facial plastic surgery in Liverpool.

Dr Allen has the following qualifications:

Dr Kyra Drinnan is a practising GP with 20 years of experience in medicine and owns her own aesthetic business, Skinphinity. She uses her medical background to ensure you are only ever provided with safe, professional and ethical advice and treatment. Katey Moulton RGN currently works as a community nurse in the NHS. She trained in Aesthetics in August 2020 and now works as an Aesthetic Nurse part-time at Cheshire Lasers. She is a member of The Royal College of Nursing.

Katey has her own aesthetics business; she lives in Crewe and has a passion for aesthetics. 

She was trained in Botox and dermal fillers by the Skin Viva clinic in August 2020 and has continued to develop and improve her skills since. 

Katey uses an independent prescriber called Sara Walsh, an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. All treatments that require a prescription-only medication will need a consultation before treatment with Katey. 

Katey performs wrinkle relaxing injections (Botox), dermal fillers and hyalase treatments.

Jade Maines is a beauty therapist with a BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy Sciences. She has over ten years of experience and has spent most of her career working in busy, reputable salons and spas. Jade was a manageress in a reputable salon chain in her last role.  She started her own mobile business, “Beautology” after having her daughter in 2019, as she missed building a rapport with her regular clients. Jade joined Cheshire Lasers in 2020, where she has her own beauty room upstairs.

Jade is confident, enthusiastic and professional. She prides herself in delivering treatments to a high standard. What she enjoys most about her job is giving people that “feel-good factor”.

Jade provides many treatments but specialises in threading hair removal, intimate waxing, microdermabrasion and dermaplanning.

£20 Booking Fee
A £20 non-refundable booking fee will be required to secure your appointment. This fee will be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day, provided the appointment goes ahead or is rescheduled with sufficient notice.
48-Hour Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment time.
Any cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment time will result in the £20 booking fee being retained, as it is often not possible to fill the space at short notice.

Tara Shotton became a qualified reflexologist in 2001.  She has since built a successful business, offering a wide range of holistic therapies in Knutsford and the surrounding areas.  With a deep passion for her work, Tara has dedicated herself fully to her career and has gained a wealth of experience along the way,

Tara joined Cheshire Lasers in March 2025. She provides a range of relaxing and restorative treatments, including Crystal Therapy, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles) and Reflexology.

She works with a variety of clients managing different conditions. Tara owns her own business, Sole to Soul Holistic Therapies and practices at Cheshire Lasers on Thursdays.

You’ll usually find her in our peaceful, holistic room upstairs. However, if you need wheelchair access, she can provide treatments in one of our comfortable ground-floor rooms.

Tara Shotton’s Training

Tara qualified first in Reiki 1. She saw firsthand the difference it made in her own life, as well as for her family and friends. She, therefore, felt inspired to share those benefits with others and became qualified as a Reiki Practitioner in 2002.  Tara found that providing Reiki to her clients brought them to a place of deep peace, calm, and relaxation.  She saw the benefits of being attuned to Reiki to be so vast that she has dedicated the last 20 years to being a Reiki Master. As a Reiki Master, Tara also offers Reiki training at all levels to support you on your own healing journey.

Tara chose to further her speciality by offering Mindful Reflexology, which is specifically designed to target areas of the body linked to stress responses. It also includes mindfulness-based guidance to help calm the mind and body, as well as self-help tools and practical advice you can use between sessions for lasting support.

Tara focuses on treatments that help reduce stress and anxiety, bringing a deep sense of calm and overall well-being. All the treatments Tara offers can aid in reducing stress and anxiety.

Complementary Therapies for Cancer Patients

Tara has a special interest in working in the field of cancer and palliative care. Tara has furthered her training at The Christie Hospital Manchester in Adapting Reflexology and Indian Head Massage for supportive and palliative. She can use a wide range of skills and therapies to help patients and their families deal with the emotional and physical effects of cancer and other life-limiting diseases.

Helena Fryer

 

Helena Fryer is an Aesthetic Technician who specialises in Scalp Micropigmentation, Microblading, Advanced Electrolysis for the removal of hair, small blemishes such as Skin Tags, Milia, Thread Veins and Blood Spots. Helena is based here at Cheshire Lasers.

In 2015 Helena trained to carry out Scalp Micropigmentation with one of the world’s leading hair loss clinics on Harley Street in London. Scalp Micropigmentation creates the illusion of real hair using microneedles and semi-permanent ink. Helena went on to manage their Manchester-based clinic, where she helped hundreds of clients who suffered from hair loss, thinning hair and alopecia. In 2016 Helena set up as an Independent Specialist in Scalp Micropigmentation and based herself permanently at Cheshire Lasers Clinic. Find out more about Scalp Micropigmentation here.

Helena was trained to carry out Microblading in 2016. This is a  form of cosmetic tattooing where coloured pigment is manually placed into the skin to create the look of fuller brows.

In 2018, Helena trained to carry out Electrolysis for hair removal.  Then in the Spring of 2019, she qualified in Advanced Electrolysis to remove small blemishes such as Skin Tags, Milia, Thread Veins and Blood Spots.

£30 consultation fee, including a patch test

£30 for a 15-minute treatment.

£47 for a 30-minute treatment.

Advanced Electrolysis for Skin Tag, Milia, Thread Vein and Blood Spot Removal:

£45 for up to a 15-minute treatment.

£75 for a 15 – 30-minute treatment.

£300 for a full treatment. Includes a consultation, first treatment, 4-6 weeks top-up treatment and aftercare products.

Top Up prices are based on the time taken to perform each procedure

£100 for up to a 90-minute treatment.

£140 for up to a 120-minute treatment.

Scalp Micropigmentation Prices:

The cost of your Scalp Micropigmentation will depend upon the area of coverage needed.

The Norwood Scale is used to determine your hair loss type and the time that will be needed to complete each session.

The starting price for Norwood Type 1 is £500, increasing gradually to £2000 for Norwood Type 7.

The price to camouflage scars will depend on the size and type of your scar. Treatments start from £100 per hour.
